Language Society (LANCE)


Head of Education & Welfare Bureau 18/19

In Center for Foundation Studies in 2018, I started to join my first society in University which is LANCE. I was appointed as the head of Education & Welfare in the organization. Being in LANCE is the best decision I made. In the Annual General Meeting, my name was called forward. I was very shock at that time because I have no intention to join any society in University. I got the highest vote for this bureau. I did not know what was my feeling at that time. Maybe I felt scared, shock, happy, sad etc. Be n this organization actually taught me a lot especially in the leadership. My another friends always lead me and they will not make me do any task alone because for them, cooperation is more better than alone. I gained many experiences and new knowledge through LANCE on how to handle programs, do proposal, deal with the staff etc. If I do not join this society, maybe I make the biggest mistake in my life.

LANCE is a society that combine two course in one society which are Bachelor of Arabic (BAR) and Bachelor of English (BEN). Our advisor is Sir Nazriq and Ustaz Abdul Rahman.

Through ot 18/19, we managed to handle and advocate some programs such as Talk by Aiman Azlan in Language Week, LANCE Family Day, Sharing Is Caring, book tour in UMP, LANCE Starry Night etc.

LANCE Mainboard at LANCE Starry Night 18/19

This picture was taken after the LANCE STARRY NIGHT just like Annual Grand Dinner. I was assistant program manager for this program. We got a lot of participants from BAR and BEN students and it was quit good. We had Silat performance, Singing, Lucky draw, Voting for the best program etc. Our menu was Nasi Arab and undeniable that the food was really delicious and good. Thank you for those who participate in this AGD and I hope it gave you a lot of memorable memories.

LANCE X Sir Nazriq @ Language Week 18/19

This picture was taken after the Language Week Closing Ceremony with our great advisor, Sir Nazriq. I think it was our first programme and thankful to Allah we made it. In this programme, I started to know a lot of people from other course like LAW, AED, etc. I also got experience on how to handle programme. I was in charge for theatre but just as observer. I learnt a lot of things here and I hope I can get chances to join any programme like Language Week.

LANCE Sharing Is Caring @ school

I think this was the most creepy and tired programmed I joined in LANCE. I was appointed as the Program Manager for Sharing Is Caring. Thank you for Muhaimin BEN that gave this opportunity for me to handle a programme at his sister's school. If not mistaken, it was in SMK Tengku Afzan, Kuantan Pahang. We made programme for 70 students on personality test, how to answer examination, tips for exam, games etc. I am very thankful to all the committees because help me a lot to make this programme successful. They need to do the teaching aids until late at night. Thank you for the great experience. Not forgotten to Bro Aizad Omar that loyal as my assistant program manager and be patience of me.
